GINGER (ex-Grapes Of Wrath) Far Out (1994)

Far Out (1994)
The Ghosts Of The Grapes Of Wrath

If you like your modern melodic pop McCartney-esque, these guys might be right up your alley. Made up of three-fourths of the great harmony roots/pop band, Grapes of Wrath, Ginger offers a quieter, more refined approach to the Grapes’ jangly bash & pop. I saw these guys play an afternoon cafeteria show on a college campus when this album first came out and was stunned how effortlessly they nailed the harmonies. Especially for a noisy, half-interested room. Far Out isn’t a revelatory release, just a solid one that fell through the cracks. The band also previously released an EP and made one more album before disbanding. A mere penny at Amazon.

Far Out
Solid Ground
Feel Like Falling Down
Saying Sorry Again
Keep Looking Back
On The Road Yet Again
Ocean Drain
The Earth Revolves Around You
Mr. Attitude
Darkside Of My Mind
The One Who Fell From Grace On The News

This was great. Are the other albums by the group as good?
