Can You Dig It? The Music and Politics of Black Action Films 1969-75 (2009)
Cool, Huh?
Excellent 2CD collection of some of the best recordings from the early 70s blaxploitation film years. Just peruse the tracks and see what a top-notch collection this is. From the some of the biggest names and better soundtracks to obscure, long-forgotten curios. Outstanding quality. Hear “Shaft In Africa.” Amazon.

Many thanks.
Soul Jazz records are simply wonderful. Their “Tropicalia” compilation was perfect and “Universal Sounds of America” likewise. Thanks for this one
