The Complete 1979
Glasgow Concert
Outstanding Soundboard Show
Recorded by McCartney himself for a possible Wings live album, this December 17, 1979 Glasgow concert is one of the better live Wings sets you’ll find. The show has been previously immortalized by bootleggers, best known as the Vigotone boot, Last Flight. Outstanding sound and a fun listen, with some offbeat selections (“Every Night,” “Hot As Sun,” “Wonderful Christmastime”) from Wings final tour in support of Back To The Egg. McCartney’s pot bust in Japan would put an end to Wings as a touring band. Most PMW fans already have this one, but here it is for those that don’t.

Thanks for this. Sounds great – much better than my old cdr @128. I saw Laurence Juber at a club in Milwaukee last year and he said he's just waiting for the call…

Did he say that with a straight face? (No disrespect to the guy, of course). McCartney rarely calls anybody back.
