THE ROLLING STONES "Fancy Man Blues" (1989)

“Fancy Man Blues” (1989)
Rare, Raw Blues B-Side

A wonderful, straight up blues tune that was originally recorded during the Steel Wheels sessions and released as a B-side to 1989’s “Mixed Emotions.” The song also surfaced on the various artists LP, After The Hurricane (Songs For Montserrat) and, as I’ve since learned, on The Stones’ so-called Rarities 1971-2003. Just one more reason why I pray The Stones record a full blues album before the end of days. We’ve got more Stones in the archives.

It’s a great track. It’s why I posted it, so I could listen to it on occasion.

Dunno if you’re interested, but I felt the way you do/did and made a Stones Blues record and I’ve been playing it out for years. Happy to send it your way if you’d like. Think of it as a small token of a thank you for all the music you share.
