MOJO Presents x 3 The Who Jukebox (2006), Stax Soul Power! (2007), Sub Pop 300! (2008)

Three more freebies from the UK’s MOJO Magazine. The Who Jukebox is a collection of favorite tracks, as picked by Pete Townshend and Roger Daltry. Stax Soul Power is pretty self-explanatory, and a great collection. Note: The date on the CD reads February 2007, but it’s a typo and actually comes from August of that year. Sub Pop 300! is a 20 year anniversary celebration of the punk/pop/grunge label.  All are at Amazon for about a buck each. Check the archives for dozens more MOJO discs. Three more next Sunday.

Thanks for the shout out for Stax. It is an instant soul party & still some of the best music in the Western Hemisphere. If your feet aren’t wiggling, better check your pulse.

Stax Soul Power! is proving itself to be a tuff one to get as it is still temporarily unavailable.

The Stax link is working OK. You might try a reboot, or another browser to see what’s up.

    Hey, Willard
I’m having trouble downloading Stax Soul Power! too. It says it’s “temporarily unavailable” and I’ve tried on two different browsers, both giving me the same result.
