From the January, 2011 issue. I’m not a big fan of Christmas music in general and, when blogging, don’t like to indulge in any typical holiday postings (The Beatles Christmas Album, notwithstanding). But, MOJO Magazine has forced my hand with their latest free CD giveaway. 15 tracks, from all sorts of folks spreading their yuletide seed, ranging from fun (Chuck Berry, Superchunk) to pointed (“Ain’t No Chimneys In The Projects”) to godawful (The Flaming Lips). But, there’s bound to be something for everybody. Art included.
