Merry Christmas en keep rockin'
Captain, Thanks for staying afloat and thanks for provciding great information and musical entertainment for all who enter.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.
>>Thanks for staying afloat…
Seriously, the best gift of all is seeing this wonderful blog rise again after every torpedo. Thanks for all you do, Santa Will.
This is some way to celebrate any Christmas. Thanks for all the hard work you put into this most incredible website.
I was actually standing about ten feet from Keith Moon's drum kit for about half the performance – but unfortunately, it was on the other side of the University of Leeds refectory wall as my girlfriend and I had decided to sell the tickets
What an excellent concert! Of the great 1970 concerts, another brilliant one is Live at Tanglewood (summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra), July 7, 1970. (streamable, I think, at Wolfgang's). Tanglewood staged rock shows in 1969 (the Who and Jefferson Airplane) and 1970, but then abandoned the idea. The band debuted the 9 minute song "Water" at the 7-7-1970 show.
I humbly thank the Captain.
Thanks for the tip. And, for all the well-wishing and kind comments.
Thanks for this and everything else, Willard.
Yay! Thanks!! Again!!! Exclamation marks are a renewable resource!!!! But that doesn't mean I should abuse them!!!!! Have a Happy Weekend and a Merry New Year.
Fantastic Krimble present. Thanks very much and here's to a torpedo free voyage throught 2011.
W, Merry Christmas to you and your family. As far as giving gifts, you have been giving all year long! Thanks for everything this year. Most of all, thanks for weathering the rough seas for the past few months and staying afloat.
Thanks BF,
You've been a big help to us here.
Many thanks for this and oh-so-many others.
Best Wishes and Happy Holidays to all!
Jim
This is totally blowing my mind. No way was i going to shell out for this but I was wrong. Totally amazing. My jaw is dropping lower as the album progresses :) Thank you.
It is good, isn't it?
It is REALLY good Cap! Thanks so much for this! It's soooo good I dare say… better than Leeds?? Possibly… Opinions? Or did someone just throw egg nog at me? :)
Happy Holidays!
The Shakin' All Over/Spoonful makes the Leeds version sound tame. At Leeds they're in a good mood, here they sound angry.
Thanks so much. Great recording, and great X-mas surprise! Have a great Holiday.
thanks very much and a happy goo year

You know my name, look up the number.
Isn't it great when you hear the count-in … 'GO!'
Thankyou so much for your special generosity this last year – often beyond the call of duty – With all the very best for the year to come …
Sweet!
Cheers!
I had to read up on this to find out what the deal with the update was. Nice to find. But then I read the 1995 version had overdubs put on to "clean it up." I had no idea. I did notice there were some bits missing, but overdubs?
Alas, a search for the "original" 80's CD was fruitless (it's here somewhere).
Guess I'll have to fire up the turntable and listen to the vinyl copy to rip it and see the difference.
I try not to think about it, JB.
