In A Club… They Are The Greatest Rock ‘n Roll Band In The World
Here’s a great live Stones bootleg from a tour warm-up club gig, recorded at the Palais Royale Ballroom in Toronto, August 16th, 2002. Don’t let the year of this recording put you off. In a club setting, the Stones are at their best and the intimate confines, excellent sound and largely pre-1975 set list make for a great, raw Stones experience. Jagger’s in fine form and the guitars are crisp and classic. Listen for yourself.

The Stones are like the Energizer Bunny, they keep going and going …….. I saw them 20 years ago because I wanted to see them before they got too old to tour!
BTW, Redux is looking good! Thanks for the share
Funny, same with me. Mid-80s, sometime.

Willard,
You never fail to please. Thanks for this goody!!!!
Don’t you imagine Keef was on his best behavior when he came back to Toronto this time?
It’s stuff like this that makes me hate the Stones. This is fantastic. They can do it. Even now, 10 years after this show, they can probably still do it. Why won’t they? Just 5 guys, playing rock and roll. Without Joss Stone!
Greetings from Vermont -
A large thank you for this fine looking set of tunes. Currently reading Keef’s biography…
Any good?
