Nice one, thanks, some are almost embarrassing, but still good fun to hear again.

Volume 4 isn’t Bubblegum at all, more like pop-inflected R&B. Out of the other 3 volumes the majority of tracks are crap (or again, not Bubblegum), but after weeding out there are a couple dozen cuts that, recompiled together, make an absolutely killer “Best of”. Not to mention that the sound quality/mastering on these is A+++. Thanks!

So why is it that most Bubblegum tracks/concepts/band names usually involve singers named Tommy singing to girls named Julie, almost always about candy and often about antiquated (even then) concepts such as telegraphs, the pony express, turn-of-the-century inventors (Alexander Graham Bell, Thomas Edision, etc.), or naive romanticized concepts of the American Indian?

I’ve tried to hate that song because of the pure disrespect toward native Americans…but, so far no luck. The rest of the song(minus those two words)…still yields a relatively pure substance…only methodone is harder to kick.
PS-Baby boomers have really been duped where history is concerned…starting with Go-Go-Gophers on Underdog…wow. that’s brutal.

Willard – 2 is fine but Deposit Files (in UK at least) insist on you putting in a mobile number and I am reluctant to do this as I don’t want continuing charges, love this collection even without 2. Also I guess you don’t have 5 in the series? Thanks for all your efforts regardless – best blog going??

Just had this same thing happen with another Brit. Here’s what he wrote: “Ah, it must be something to do with Google Chrome and/or the Adblock Plus extension – as I use both. I’ve just downloded it using the dread Internet Explorer.”

Apparently it has something to do with the browser, since the link is fine on my end. Try using Firefox, or something different, and see how it works. Let me know.

Yep same in Firefox – very strange but all attempts at regular download take you to this page!! Used to DL a lot from DF as well :(

Someone just reported that there’s a tiny x in the corner of some pages he’s getting in the UK that will make it go away.

Willard you (and he/her) are correct – never noticed the X but that does indeed get pas tit Thanks Guys :)

So presume you don’t have volume 5 in this series?
