    Hi yo Silver…Away!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Willard! Thank you Don From Oregon!
Is everything on the 2 disc set included on the 5 disc set?
And I must assume the two pdf files are the same.

As a music lover in close proximity to Cucamonga you’ve made me very happy.

I wonder why nothing from the (inland) surfer group The Tornadoes (from Redlands, CA) ended up on this comp. Unless they were associated with Studio Z and not Pal Studios. Remember Bustin’ Surfboards from Pulp Fiction? That was them and Frank helped them get started.

check out The Gremmie or Shootin’ Beavers from 1963.

Don’t know a whole lot about all this myself. I just like the cheezy amps.

You’ve done it again ( with a little help from Don in Oregon)

    Choice bits from the master.

    Many thanks to you both

Holy cow! Huge thanks to you, Willard, and Don from Oregon for this treasure trove!
I’ve been trying to acquire the Paul Buff stuff for some time. I have a film critic friend who
will flip for “The World’s Greatest Sinner” track — if you ever get a chance to see the film of
the same name, do NOT miss it. Simply indescribably creepy.
And I’m helping a guy who’s working on a book about Giant Crab. Their stuff, other than the
two UNI albums, which were reissued in the past year or two, is tough to find.
That final single, “E.S.P.” (a cover of a track by Rain, itself a rewrite of Pretty Things’
“LSD”), especially, is a real find in high fidelity.
    Many thanks to you, both!

Fantastic, Don, thanks! I cannot recommend that album too strongly. Do you need the
second (1969) album? I’ll check back here; if so, I can post it.

I know I would, so if it’s ok with the Captain of the ship, then please do.!

Sorry for the delay! I’ve been, and still am, away from my music (and home!). Heading home this weekend, will get with the Crab share.

Thanks, Dudes. “The Big Surfer” by Brian Lord and The Midnighters is one of FZ’s finest overlooked gems. Great collection, most notably 16 minutes of FZ and Steve Allen, Hollywood Persuaders, and songs that later appeared on Absolutely Free.
