A new Stephen Stills & Manassas CD comes out on Sept. 22nd. The disc features outtakes culled from sessions for the short-lived group’s only two LPs. From the Rhino Web Site…

ManassasPieces collects unreleased recordings from sessions for both of the band’s albums, 1972’s eponymous double-album debut and the 1973 follow-up, Down The Road.
ManassasPieces features alternate versions of two songs from Down The Road: “Do You Remember The Americans” and “Lies” (featuring guitarist Joe Walsh). The collection also includes the legendary group’s unreleased performances of “Sugar Babe” and “Word Game,” a pair of songs Stills recorded in 1971 for his second solo album. The remaining tracks include “Like A Fox,” a song recorded with blues guitarist Bonnie Raitt on background vocals and the Latin-tinged “Tan Sola Y Triste” (Spanish for ‘So Alone And Sad’).

The pop-up link features songs from the new release. The stand alone player will stay open until you close it, if you want to surf elsewhere.

Thanks for the info. Copyright laws have made it so some folks can't sample some of the stuff that's been cleared for broadcast in the USA (Like some of the movies we post from Hulu). Sorry guys.
